Paul Miller
This months Spotlight features a former number 1 fighter Paul Miller, whose record stands at 7-7 WKA Championship, Who was nominated for fight of the year at combat at the capital in NYC against Ian Hastings.
He trained under Chris Tran of Weapons 9 Muay Thai.
Paul grew up in New Brunswick New Jersey, and started training at the age of 20 , He had his first amateur fight 3 months later, His national championship weight 175 he then went on to become Regional Light-Heavyweight Champion at 195 with a height of 6” he was a formidable opponent .
He was about to go professional when tragedy struck and he was involved in a car accident , which left him unable to train for professional fights, but that did not stop him and he moved his attentions to coaching up and coming fighter and students.
Today he has become involved in Politics for the Good of the Roma communities of America and Europe.
However he says he does miss the ring sometimes and there could be a possibility of him returning to the ring and competition fighting as he says he is still young…
