The Luton Roma Trust was formed in the October of 2015, It is a non- profit registered charity (1160404) which is based in Luton U.K.
Their aim is to offer help and advice to the Local Roma Communities, Who have migrated to the U.K over the recent years.
They work very closely with other agencies in Luton and is actively working to expand what they offer to include responding to daily needs of the Roma families through growing their team to help assist new families that arrive every week.
The Luton Roma Trust fully supports the integration of Roma families into the community and get them settled into their new life within the U.K.
They help them access Accommodation, Medical and Welfare care, Education and Employment within the area.
In April of 2018 The Luton Roma Trust opened their Roma Community Centre which now gave them a place of their own to work from.
In July of 2018 they registered their 1,000th beneficiary and began their project called “English for Life”
The BBC got to here about the Organisation and filmed them in their new community centre as a result of their appearance with their story appearing on television a solicitor firm of Noble Solicitors offered to provide free legal advice at the centre and a Local dentist offered their advice service too.
Now with Brexit looming and the move to Universal Credit the Organisation is wishing to set up some computer stations linked to the internet to help the Adults of the Roma Families access their civic affairs on line and complete application forms etc as the Roma families come here to stay Luton Roma Trust will be there to welcome them………
